Richard White - President/General Manager

My entire life I have spent in and around the car business and selling is in my blood. I started selling pens and candy in elementary school. Then, in my early teens, elevated to flea markets and selling Hanover shoes. I sold my first car long before I had a drivers license. I worked at my Dad’s carlot washing cars throughout my teens. After graduating college and receiving a degree in Business Administration from SUNY at Fredonia in 1989, I officially joined the family business as the General Manager. I became co-owner of Jim White’s Truck and Auto Center in 2008. And, in 2015, my Dad retired and I became the owner.

I strive to live by the Golden Rule….Do unto other others as you would have them do unto you.

I was hired as a receptionist/title clerk in 2006. Richard taught me how to do all the paperwork including New York DMV forms and bank contracts. He was very meticulous. My handwriting was neat enough to pass his test. My responsibilities include answering phones, processing all DMV transactions, scheduling repair appointments and everything else to manage the office. I am a New York State notary and enrolled as a Partner with the New York DMV in order to be able to issue your registration/plates for your vehicle. In 2014, Richard and I got married. When we are not spending everyday working together, our two loves are escaping to a sunny beach and eating ice cream.
